New handgun holster for owners of firearms. It would be designed with an innovative security/safety feature that would prohibit anyone but its owner from drawing a weapon from the unit. It would also automatically call for backup assistance in law enforcement applications, or call emergency services in civilian applications, each time the weapon was drawn.
